We all know that an upright exercise motor bike is one of the best and complete ways of getting fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Truth be told, an Exerpeutic Folding Magnetic Upright Bike with pulse is one of the best exercise bikes around to help you achieve this.

Manufactured by a reputable company known to produce quality, this bike is as user friendly as they come. In fact, this is due in part to the fairly larger than normal seat cushion that caters to people of varying sizes, hence it’s very easy to adjust therefore being able to comfortably fit persons in height ranging from 5 feet 3 inches to 6 feet one inch. Oh did I mention that it is a fairly comfortable seat as well? Another feature of this machine is the fact that it also comes with a hand pulse as well as heart rate monitor that allows you to keep track of these during your workout.

Also contributing to the user friendliness of this exercise bike is the fact that the bike, as the name suggests is able to be folded up after your workout sessions, therefore making it easy to store also meaning it will take up only a small amount of space. In fact, an intriguing piece of information is the fact that this bike actually has the ability to be reduced by half when folded as opposed to when the unit is fully open and operational. This machine also comes with wheels that are built-in which makes it even easier to transport and move around from one room to the next.

In short this is as user friendly as you can get in terms of exercise bike. This machine is a convenient one to have and the dynamics and make up of this machine definitely incorporates safety as well. People of all heights and body mass will appreciate this machine as it caters to a number of different heights and body mass. This machine is especially useful if you are having space issues as the foldaway and transport dynamics make the bike easy to handle and easy to maneuver.

Comparison

There are quite a few magnetic bikes that you would say are similar to this bike in terms of similarity with price and features. Exercise bikes such as the ‘easyFiT Folding Magnetic 2 in 1 Bike with Pulse Sensors’ and the ‘Stamina 5325 Magnetic Resistance Upright Exercise Bike’. A similarity that is immediately striking is the fact that both the Exerpeutic exercise bikes and the easyFit exercise bike have pulse readers. A slight difference however, is that the price for each slightly varies. All machines provide a credible workout and are fairly similar in the dynamics that they offer.

The stamina 5325 machine also comes with eight different resistance levels, but however, this comes with additional 6 pre-set workout regimes. The oversized seats also ensure comfort as well as compatibility with persons of different body mass, whilst the seat can also be adjusted to fit persons of varying heights as well. The magnetic tension on this bike is also adjustable and it is guaranteed to give a good workout. However, there has been concern about the lack of pedal strap thus causing your foot to slip. Additionally, the data is not showed in its entirety when compared to the Exerpeutic.

The easyFit on the other hand, comes with the capability of being adjusted form a slight recumbent stance to an upright one. The machine also comes with 8 different resistance levels that are easily controllable and the LCD monitor is easy to read, thus allowing you access to your workout data even whilst you are working out. The monitor provides you access with a number of data including heart rate, speed, distance, and time, whilst the pulse rate monitor keeps you abreast while you work out. Additionally, the mechanics of the fly wheel makes the workout session smooth and quiet.

Verdict

These machines as I have mentioned are really similar. All three machines have an 8 level resistance that guarantees you a good workout, however unlike the Exerpeutic and the Easyfit, the stamina 5325 comes with 6 built-in workouts to ensure your fitness program is neither monotonous nor boring. All prices are fairly affordable and vary just slightly, but the pulse and heart rate feature on the exerpeutic and easyFit is a unique and attractive feature that allows you to monitor your pulse and heart rate, if not for anything else, then for safety reasons.

For my choice I would choose the Exerpeutic machine, because not only is it the cheapest, but because there is not much difference amongst all three and there are features as well as the overall look of the equipment that sets it apart from the others.
